Purpose:
The Young Stars Match League offers individual players a chance to join a team and participate in league play. Select Soccer Academy staff under the Direction of Rick Derella and Dave Farrell will coach the teams.

Program:
Individuals will be placed on teams formulated at the first meeting. The main goal in forming teams will be to achieve parity in the league. The program consists of 2 practice sessions followed by 7 matches, making a 9 week program. Each player will receive maximum playing time during each match. All positions will be rotated. No standings are kept.

Days and Hours:
Games will be one hour long and kickoff times will rotate each week within the times mentioned. (All players will be contacted prior to the first meeting.)

Tuition:
$TBA/session is 9 weeks including: 2 practices, 7 matches, instruction and team shirt. Please apply early for classes are limited in size and are formed on a first-paid basis. Car pooling requests limited to 3 players per team.

Equipment:
All registrants are expected to arrive for the first class with sneakers or turf shoes, shorts, warm ups, shinguards and a soccer ball. All registrants will receive a FREE official Oakwood game shirt. The Oakwood Soccer Specialty Store can answer questions and fit your player’s needs from head to toe.

Make Up Policy:
No cash refunds except in the case of injury or illness with written verification from a physician. Check the website, www.oakwood.com, in the case of inclement weather. If class is canceled, a make up will be scheduled.

Additional Programs:
Oakwood Select Soccer Clinics - for boys and girls ages 3 1/2 -16, provides individual instruction and sessions start every six weeks. The Oakwood Indoor Soccer League has youth divisions for boys and girls teams from U-9 to U-19. For information visit the Front Desk or call Oakwood.
