Since 1980, Oakwood Glastonbury has provided Connecticut youth with the opportunity to learn, develop and play year-round soccer. Founders and Directors Rick Derella and Dave Farrell conducted youth leagues, adult leagues, tournaments and soccer instruction on one indoor field in the early days. The facility has now grown to four soccer fields, two of which were recently resurfaced. This soccer program includes leagues and tournaments for all ages and levels, extensive instructional programs, and birthday parties. Oakwood has become "soccer central" for the state of Connecticut. It’s a family recreation center where soccer is #1!
Oakwood Indoor Soccer Programs
Adult & Youth Leagues
The Adult Coed and Men’s divisions are Year-Round. All levels are availible, and sessions begin every 8 weeks. Boy’s & Girl’s Divisions, U8 through U19, will be formed. Premier, Travel & Recreational teams are welcome. The Youth League has two sessions of 8 games each.

Soccer Programs For Kids (for Individuals)
Boys and girls ages (3.5 - 16) can enhance their individual soccer skills and become a better player by learning the fundamentals of soccer. All sessions are six weeks. Classes are availible for Preschool/Kinderkickers ages (3.5 - 5), Soccer with Mom or Dad (3.5-5), Little Feet ages (5 - 6.5), Minikickers (6.5 - 8), and Youth ages (8 - 10). New Premium Clinics include Speed Training, Goalkeeper Training, Shooting Class and Foot Skills.
Birthdays Parties
Boys and Girls 5 and up can have an indoor soccer birthday party. 1 hour of indoor game time, Carvel cake, plus party time all at Oakwood. Packages for up to 20 kids starting at $150.00. Call for detail!
Open Time Field Rentals
Rent out one of the 4 fields (availability varies) on any day of the week, day or night.
Rates for teams currently registered in our indoor leagues:
- Field #1 #2 are $130 per hour
- Field #3 $115 per hour
For Non-League rentals:
- Fields #1 #2 are $150 per hour
- Field #3 is $125 per hour
